I had an early morning work event in West End of London. I arrived early so made the most with some London Landmark images. Such beautiful buildings seeped in history!
Arrived at Green Park …
So lucky to have such amazing places right on doorstop … well a short tube ride anyway!
The Ritz – so glamorous and well looked after …
The hotel was opened by Swiss hotelier César Ritz in May 1906, eight years after he established the Hôtel Ritz Paris.
Sotheby’s auction house – wonder how many times this has featured in films and TV?
Sotheby’s is the world’s fourth oldest auction house in continuous operation. It was established in 1744.
And Picadilly Arcade, probably not as well know but really beautiful …
Piccadilly Arcade runs between Piccadilly and Jermyn Street in central London. It was opened in 1909, having been designed by Thrale Jell, and is a Grade II listed building.
so a few well known and not so well known. Lovely spots whilst early for my early event!
This one is probably not considered a ‘landmark’ but it’s a pretty building! Might have to try a hot date here one day!
Hope you enjoyed!
